Batchelor Trust benefits 17 students
An amazing 17 students have been awarded £ 1,000 each to support them in their studies thanks to our ongoing support from the Batchelor Trust . This is the fourth year that the Trust has very generously supported Fife College students studying courses that lead to a trade .
The Trust were so impressed with the progress of three students awarded last year they decided to award them a further £ 1,000 this year . Two of the recipients of the award over two years are Isla Band ( pictured ), NPA painting and Decorating and Pawel Koch , NC Electrical and NC Engineering Systems .
For Pawel the award has truly been life-changing , enabling him to secure a promising career and future ahead in Scotland : Pawel said : “ I ’ m very surprised and very honoured and really appreciate that my lecturers noticed my effort . I have been living in Scotland for the last 18 years and have decided to put the award towards finalising my naturalisation process and become an official British citizen .”
