MOORINGS SYSTEMS
Kingston Marine Services maintains the moorings in the River Medina, from the Folly
to the Outer Harbour, including all the pontoons & residents’ swinging moorings.
We also supply moorings solutions to yacht clubs in the eastern Solent & local event
moorings for Cowes Week, Round the Island Race & visiting fleets for regattas, as
well as individual bespoke moorings for local sailors.
BUOY MANAGEMENT
We have extensive experience in the servicing & scheduling of maintenance to all local
harbour navigation marks & many of the Solent race marks. Kingston Marine Services
can fulfil all your mark laying or retrieving needs, on a one-off or ongoing basis.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Our experienced team, equipped with our Multi-Cat barge Seaclear & small tug/escort
vessel Seamark, backed up with other vessels including fast RIBs, is often called upon
to deal with the jobs that no one else can, including towage, salvage & special access.
The team has comprehensive experience working with dive teams, salvors & other
specialist contractors providing solutions whatever the situation, & we are always willing
to discuss options with the client to provide the best service to fit the circumstances.
VESSEL HIRE
Kingston Marine Services’ vessels can be hired for private charter & are
regularly employed on a wide range of tasks throughout the year.
SEACLEAR
The main workhorse at Kingston Marine Services is our 16m Multi-Cat vessel Seaclear:
Twin Doosan 230BHP diesel engines
30 t/m deck crane
10 tonne deck winch & 6 tonne bollard pull
8.5 knot services speed
Seaclear specialises in the laying, servicing & recovery of moorings & buoyage, & the
Multi-Cat is also available for charter to carry out marine contracts, including bed
levelling & marine salvage. With a 28 tonne deck cargo capacity Seaclear offers excellent
transportation & logistic support capabilities.
SEAMARK
Our 11 metre steel workboat Seamark is available for hire with two or more crew. Fitted
with a deck winch, bollard & no stern gunnels, Seamark is suited to towage work, boom
deployment & observation; she also serves as ferry escort for events such as Cowes Week.
