The Diversity of Temperament

I
n a dimly-lit, rundown house on Moore Ave., in
Augusta, Ga., a group of guys sits and stands in a
loose circle in the nearly empty living room discussing
how, in just three short months, they became the band
Temperament that plays like they’ve been together for
years.
When asked to explain how things came together so
quickly, each one of them had a different answer.
Stanton “Stan” Hayden, the guitarist in the band, said
part of the reason is they all share the same philosophy
about music.
“We all just clicked right away with our personalities,”
said Anthony “Amp” Brown, drummer. “If you can’t get
along with somebody, there’s no way you can make music with them.”
Bass player Joseph “Joe” Bellardino said that, “none
of us were in any clique anywhere, so we started our
own.”
Temperament’s singer, Jarrod Allison, said things
worked out so fast because of everyone’s experience and
talent they brought to the band from the very beginning.
“I knew it would work good with Stan,” said Allison.
“Then when Amp came, things just fell into place.”
