Sceneazine.com sounds like a shitty rip-off or an unoriginal sound, but, Scary Cherry and the Bang Bangs pull it off. With their own twist somewhere in there, they make this song sound original and fresh. With the song about a, you guessed it, girl, they pull off something straight out of the ‘96 grunge scene. Definitely a ‘90’s grunge fan’s modern dream. I give it a 4 out of 5 rating. Now get out your plaid and denim vest and crank it up. Founded in 2012, this band has been making strides ever since they started. The first album Dead to Rise doesn’t even compare to the brutality that you can expect in Careful what you wish for their newest release that was just dropped on 10/3/2014. Lineup consists of: Chris James: Vocals Alex Olivetti Guitar: newest member Dave Visbisky: Guitar Ron Martin: Bass and CJ Krukowski: Drums Threatpoint is an original metal band from Scranton, PA. You can expect different genres, different influences throughout the songs. The key to it all according to their bio is groove. They pay attention to the fans during live shows which is the always in the front of their mind when they are writing. I have been to many of their shows including 2 outside of the NEPA area and let me tell you they don’t disappoint whether they are at home, or on the road. You have to definitely check them out for yourself. The energy that’s on stage is just like your big name artists. There’s never a dull moment with these guys. You can’t just stand still. You are definitely moving just like the band from the minute they start to the minute they finish. The most brutal tracks off the album are Careful What You Wish For, The Age of Godlessness, Tree of Sorrow, Divide N Conquer, and Secrets. The bottom line in the end is all tracks will keep you head banging from beginning to end. Lots of what you are going to hear on this album are very similar to Testament, Killswitch Engage, Throwdow
