Hernando County Kennel Club meetings are held at 8:00 PM on the third Thursday of the month at Hernando Senior Citizens Center , 8187 Fort Dade Ave , Brooksville , FL . Guests are welcome . The next meeting is Sept 19 , 2024 . Only Service dogs allowed during meeting . Training classes for AKC Conformation , Rally , and Obedience are held weekly at the same location . Hernando HOPE ( Helping Other People with Empathy ) is about helping homeless People into homes & jobs . We start with food , clothing & toiletries including disposable paper goods & such grooming products as shampoo , razor blades , toothpaste & brushes , soap , etc . Then we get them IDs so they can work & we help them find jobs . It takes persistent effort & lots of support . If you have the time & compassion to share , we need you . Call 571-748- 8033 .
