Much of the shape of theatre at Wabash College today can be attributed to the influence of two men: James “Jim” Fischer and Dwight “Doc” Watson. These theatre professors along with such figures as Kenneth Kloth, Laura Conners, and many others over the course of years and a plethora of plays brought Wabash theatre into the modern era. The last of these legends still at Wabash College, Prof. Watson, will be retiring upon conclusion of the 2016-2017 academic year. In honor of him and the work he has done we decided to conduct an “exit” interview. He is a professor, mentor, and director who will remain in the minds of students of past, present, and future forevermore.
