A complete ARF makeover for a scale appearance by Tim Cardin cent requiring a second layer of glass for additional strength. a common hinge pin but are not removable and each is fitted with a torque rod extending inside the fuselage. I used templates made by enlarging my selected three-view drawing to accurately replicate scale hinge appearance. I made an additional support for the torque rod using a wheel collar mounted on a stainless steel bolt which was epoxied to the inside of the fuse. I used another wheel collar silver soldered to brass flat stock to make the tiller arm. I ground flat spots in the torque rods and used short 4-40 Allen bolts with red Loctite to lock them down.
