Here’s a view of the landing light assembly. And There
is only one on the P 47 on the left wing. The small servo
moves the light in the down position and a micro switch
applies power.

This view shows the landing light in the retracted position and off. These are really bright LED lights and visible even in the daytime. The landing light adds another
scale dimension to the P 47.

These are the holes for the formation lights on the
underside of the right wing. I was able to find red blue
and amber lamps that fit perfectly at a local electronics
store. I modified them to fit inside the wing and installed
10MM LED’s inside each lamp.

For the rear cooler doors I removed the vacuum formed
part that came with the kit and made metal doors with
magnets that I can set manually for a more scale appearance.
