Interaction with SAP 2000 and ETABS - Cross sections recognition from a dxf or dwg file

SCADA Pro , now , features bidirectional communication with SAP2000 ® and ETABS ® software from Computers and Structures , Inc ., allowing the import and export of any type of model created in SAP2000 or ETABS to SCADA Pro and vice versa . These modules provide engineers tremendous versatility and flexibility to meet challenging demands . Using SCADA Pro ’ s innovative interface , users can quickly recognize the physical model of the structure out of any architectural drawing in dxf or dwg format . The recognition and simulation process of the cross sections located in the library of SCADA Pro is performed selectively or automatically per storey , per structural element ( columns , beams , slab , foundation connecting beams ) and in total for the whole structure . The three-dimensional physical and numerical model of the structure is automatically created . Automatic and without user intervention , also , is the recognition of the structural slabs and cantilevers that are designed with simple lines . Bidirectional communication between architectural and structural models ensures time saving and costs reduction . SCADA Pro is certified by Autodesk ® for the automatic , bidirectional communication with Revit Structure .
Multiple benefits :
• Significant reduction of the modeling time through automation .
• Avoids errors and mismatches between architecture design and structural modeling .
• Building Information Modeling ( BIM ) compliance .
