Interaction with SAP 2000 and ETABS- Cross sections recognition from a dxf or dwg file

SCADA Pro, now, features bidirectional communication with SAP2000 ® and ETABS ® software from Computers and Structures, Inc., allowing the import and export of any type of model created in SAP2000 or ETABS to SCADA Pro and vice versa. These modules provide engineers tremendous versatility and flexibility to meet challenging demands. Using SCADA Pro’ s innovative interface, users can quickly recognize the physical model of the structure out of any architectural drawing in dxf or dwg format. The recognition and simulation process of the cross sections located in the library of SCADA Pro is performed selectively or automatically per storey, per structural element( columns, beams, slab, foundation connecting beams) and in total for the whole structure. The three-dimensional physical and numerical model of the structure is automatically created. Automatic and without user intervention, also, is the recognition of the structural slabs and cantilevers that are designed with simple lines. Bidirectional communication between architectural and structural models ensures time saving and costs reduction. SCADA Pro is certified by Autodesk ® for the automatic, bidirectional communication with Revit Structure.
Multiple benefits:
• Significant reduction of the modeling time through automation.
• Avoids errors and mismatches between architecture design and structural modeling.
• Building Information Modeling( BIM) compliance.
