Italy ’ s very own ‘ holiday race ’ venue , located within metres of a National Autostrada A4 but more importantly just a couple of kilometres from the endless expanses of the holiday resorts , hotels and beaches of the Adriatic Riviera , is always a popular stopping off point for any race series , For WorldSBK in particular , it has been a happy home-from-home almost every season since it was first used in 1991 .

Misano is unlike most other Italian circuits in being basically flat .
