A PERFECT MATCH
The Motul FIM Superbike World Championship does not feature the active racing talents of former WorldSBK champion Sylvain Guintoli anymore but after most of his early career had taken place inside the MotoGP™ classes , his arrival inside the production-derived arena finally paid off with the biggest trophy of all in 2014 . Part of Sylvain ’ s ability to win that championship came down to his incredible versatility , positive attitude and experience . All of those things and more have ensured that as he approaches 40 years of age , he is not only as busy as ever but working on several things he may not have ever dreamed of while racing intensely in MotoGP™ and WorldSBK . After he and full-time WorldSBK racing parted ways , a split that started after he suffered a big hight-side crash at Imola , Sylvain has used his extensive experience to fulfil a number of roles , including being a brand ambassador for Motul . Things have just taken an uptick in how busy Sylvain is , especially now that the Covid-19 lockdowns are beginning to ease up somewhat .
