The 2021 WorldSBK Championship will feature no fewer than nine riders who can be classified as full season ‘ rookies ’. The strength of WorldSBK has just jumped up a few notches , but also the breadth of experience contained inside the new batch . From the most experienced WorldSSP or Moto2 / Moto3 champions to younger riders making the jump up from national racing , WorldSBK in 2021 is a fresh opportunity for all . It takes two to tango , of course , so as well as asking the riders why they chose WorldSBK , we also asked their team bosses what they see in their latest recruits . From the most famous to the least well-known , we asked the riders to tell us more about themselves , to find out what makes them tick and a bit more about what they like to do away from the track . And not forgetting that all-important job interview question , ‘ where do you see yourself in five years ’ time ?

The important thing is to progress and at the end of the year , begin to push harder and be bolder .
