So far , after the fourth round of the championship ( held under the anvil of the summer sun at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in June ) so very good . Good for both the riders and a refreshed HRC team . A podium for Iker was achieved at only the second round of the championship , in the final race of an Assen weekend which had Motul as the title sponsor . Iker ’ s team-mate Xavi came close to a first podium by taking fourth place in the Misano Superpole ‘ sprint ’ race .
After four rounds and 12 individual WorldSBK races , Iker is fifth overall and Vierge ninth , their impressive rookie season results being powered by HRC Honda ’ s CBR1000RR-R , running Motul ’ s 300V ² engine lubricant .

The official Team HRC MXGP squad is a leading light in motocross and a close partner with Motul , using

At time of press Slovenian Tim Gajser is heading up the points table with a clear advantage in the World Championship on his Honda CRF450R . Tim is already a four-time champion . He is partnered in the team by young Aussie Mitch Evans , who is currently 11th .
In the World of Rally Racing , the iconic Dakar was won in 2021 by Honda , in the shape of Argentinian rider Kevin Benavides and his Powered by Motul Monster Energy Honda factory team . Fellow Honda rider Ricky Brabec placed second for a CRF450 Rally 1-2 last year . Between them they won ten stages , with Motul alongside them for every turn of the wheel . HRC rider Pablo Quintanilla was the runner-up in the 2022 Dakar , winning the final stage . All four HRC teams managed to finish , which at any Dakar would be a major achievement in itself .
