The 2022 FIM Superbike World Championship has clearly set out its intention with an twelve round campaign planned to run from April through to November . With global conditions now improved , there is hope that the 2022 calendar will be able to run to its full potential .
The continued presence of all the major manufacturers confirms that the FIM Superbike World Championship remains an important racing platform for many of the leading motorcycle brands who have all enjoyed their own successes out on track over the last thirty-year plus period .
2021 saw Turkey ’ s Toprak Razgatlioglu end Jonathan Rea ’ s incredible six-year winning run and he will start as favourite when his title defence begins in Spain . Few would doubt that these two riders could again be locked in another titanic tussle , as defined last season , though other riders are also sure to want to have their say in who will eventually claim the gold medal .
I am certainly looking forward to the new season and would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the FIM to thank all those parties who will make it happen . They include our promoter Dorna WSBK Organization , our national federations , the local organisers , our FIM officials , the many volunteers , the riders , the teams , the manufacturers , the media , plus all associated partners and sponsors , and of course you the fans .
Together I am sure we are going to enjoy watching the 2022 battle unfold .
El Campeonato Mundial de Superbikes FIM 2022 ha dejado claras sus intenciones planificando un calendario de doce pruebas previstas desde abril hasta noviembre . Dado que las condiciones globales han mejorado manifiestamente , confiamos en que la temporada 2022 funcionará a su máximo potencial .
La presencia sostenida de los principales fabricantes confirma que el Campeonato del Mundo de Superbikes FIM sigue siendo una importante plataforma deportiva para muchas de las grandes marcas de motos , que han cosechado numerosos éxitos en la pista a lo largo de los últimos treitnta años .
En 2021 Toprak Razgatlioglu logró poner fin a la increíble racha de seis años de triunfos de Jonathan Rea y arrancará como favorito en España cuando comience su defensa del título . Nadie duda de que estos dos pilotos podrían volver a sostener otro duelo de titanes , como la temporada pasada , aunque otros competidores seguramente también tendrán mucho que decir en la lucha final .
Quiero aprovechar esta oportunidad para agradecer en nombre de la FIM a todos los que hacen que esto sea posible . Desde el promotor , Dorna WSBK Organization , a las federaciones nacionales , los organizadores locales , los propios comisarios de la FIM , los numerosos voluntarios , los pilotos , los equipos , las marcas , los medios de comunicación , los patrocinadores y , por supuesto , ustedes , los aficionados .
Estoy seguro de que disfrutaremos juntos viendo la emocionante batalla de 2022 .
