This comprehensive training meets all focus areas of Senate Bill 612: · Understanding and Recognizing Dyslexia · Use Evidence-Based Practices to Systematically and Explicitly Teach  the Foundational Skills in Reading · Intensify Instruction to Meet the Needs of Students with Severe Reading Difculties, Including Dyslexia. How Did You Design the Courses? The scope and sequence of this training was designed using the Knowledge and Practice Standards from the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. To best meet the needs of the wide range of educators throughout our state, training is limited to 35 participants. Educators are in cohorts, which fosters collaboration. A curriculum doesn't teach a child. A trained teacher does. I look forward to seeing your teachers at my training!
