Why colors?
Colors, it is quite obvious.
Colors are connected with
everything, have you
noticed? What is the
dominant color in your
wardrobe? Black skies? Red
chili? Blue waves? Fishy
grey? Purple wine? You
probably never wondered
why, or even noticed that
unconsciously you pick a
color to represent you and
your mood, or maybe you
already noticed it.
But here is my point, when
I was 13, I only wanted to
wear black, this was when
my depression set its roots
- deep down in my teenage
years – I know right? I
stayed in black until I
turned 22. Cliché
When I was 22 and finally
understood who I wanted
to be as a person, my will
to change my wardrobe
was chaotic, I threw all
non basic black away and
build a new wardrobe.
I found myself and
ended up hooked in all
shades of yellow, all I
want is yellow nowadays,
and of course a few
complementary colors
black, white, brown, grey,
blue, but the dominant
#1
color is the color of the
sun, now if you ask me is
yellow the color that
defines me?
I don’t know, because my
car, my house and my
favorite place to be are all
blue, so what does this
mean? When we are living,
we are colorful in many
ways, we don’t belong to
one color, just like we don’t
belong to a stereotype, or
one type of personality –
but stereotypes will be
covered in another issue.
Interesting? I am not done.
