I hate to say something like “if I knew then what I
knew now” but if I knew then what I knew now, I
probably would’ve tried. Despite all the lazy jokes
about the value of an Arts (and business!) degree,
despite how ridiculous majoring in “writing” sounds,
Marx has a funny way of sneaking up on you when
you least expect a revolution. I guess what I’m trying
to say is, you never really know just how university is
going to impact your life so you should probably use
and abuse all these great learning resources while
you can? I don’t know. I mean that’s what I should’ve
done. It might not work for you. It might not work
at all. All I know is it’s tough trying to read scientific
journals without university access.
