Doodling (2018). ▶
Every SASS student (and graduate!)
understands that there are galaxies
that exist outside their major and
reading materials. Being a BA student
allowed me to explore many different
interests (feminism and religion anyone?
;D ), inject my life experiences into my
studies (it was super cool when I got to
share my cosplay experience in class),
and later face the unknown with curiosity
and excitement (Exchange to Monash
Melbourne in 2014, presently pursuing my career goals
at Curio Shanghai, maybe the chance to explore Mars
will open itself up to me someday!). The opportunity
to take numerous different electives, coupled with the
open-mindedness of the SASS community, allowed
me to be myself and flourish in an encouraging
environment that I do not believe I could have attained
at another school. Thank you SASS for being a fertile
ground during a pivotal period in my life.

I really should have paid more attention in Writing
Techniques because the only things I can write with
confidence now are academic papers and meeting
notes. But, hey, the brush has always been mightier
than the pen for me! Even so, here’s my attempt at
explaining my doodle:
