“On a recent flight, I was in line for the bathroom with my 2-year-old son, Leo, when flight attendant Mark
Murphy started talking to him. I informed Mark that Leo is deaf, so Mark started using sign language. Leo
is learning ASL, so it was a very nice surprise to have Mark communicate with him in this way. Leo
immediately started smiling, and this interaction made our flight that much more enjoyable. Thank you,
Southwest, for employing people who care about making flights so personal.”
