we need to address. Society can help us accomplish what we alone cannot do it. For these reasons, Convo ' s message is on track with deaf people ' s continued focus on redefining themselves. It is through action and words that our future can be affected positively. The next time someone approaches me and I respond that I sign, the hearing person might shift from speaking to signing automatically. This would be part of an inclusive society that embraces diversity. How wonderful would that be?
