Rob Futter, SARACCA president A word from our President The return on investment (ROI) of networking with colleagues in our industry is hard to calculate. This seems to be true until one has been part of a SARACCA discussion around technical and contractual issues at our meetings. Thereafter the ROI is a non-issue. These meetings and the support that the SARACCA office provides are a source of incalculable value for new and prospective members as well as the long-standing members themselves. The collective depth of experience of the SARACCA members provides a support structure for our industry and one that is needed now more than ever in the development of our new contractors moving forward in the tough South African economic environment. Skills training is a large part of SARACCA’s contribution to the industry, particularly its members, and continues to be a prioritised activity in the association.
