Diamond: We looked at your painting of the emerald blue rose that had a raindrop coming for the rose. Explain about the painting?
Imoya: Yes, that rose painting. I was trying to convey the good that can come out of uncertain darkness.. In darkness there's alot of fear & concern. You can bump into things that you don't know are there, But in the midst of the dirt. The tears & fears. Whether you feel it or not there's a Rose growing. Your tears are the nourishment for your Rose
Diamond: Your other painting is an abstract painting. Tell us what inspire you to create this paint?
Imoya: The abstract painting is basically me experimenting. I think some abstract is really cool.. it's unfamiliar territory for me, tho. I'm a little too detailed for abstract paintings. Its supposed to be expressive & no boundaries. But I'm so detailed in my paintings, that sometimes having no restrictions can be a welcomed change

I grew up in a well rounded life with 4 beautiful sisters, Ruth, Lillian, Sarah, and Grace in a house full of woman. I learned at an early age the Art of Beauty. Although I have not ascertained formal training in the Arts. I have discovered a different part of myself through my work. Quintesensionally bringing me to where I am today. Especially to my Mom & sis Lillian, who have passed on, The name Imoya, acronyms for; "In Memory Of You Always", is dirivited from strong family.
