Glacier has recently turned 25 . That ’ s 25 years of world-class vision , commitment and valued partnerships built with our business partners and clients . It ’ s also been 25 years of supporting our financial intermediaries as they guide their clients towards prosperity , as well as through uncertain , challenging times .
A new-age vision We have not forgotten our humble beginnings – a small band of trailblazers , 36 employees in total , who had a dream of becoming an investment platform of choice .
We saw a world where clients could have a choice of new-age investment solutions – beyond traditional life solutions – from a host of fund houses , in any investment style or location , to meet their retirement and investment goals . All in one place .
We ’ re still growing Now , we are a local and international investment platform , hosting thousands of funds and wrap funds – a platform positioned for the future . We have grown to be an investment partner with more than R450 billion in assets under administration ( as at June 2022 ), employing more than 550 champions .
We continue to grow organically and work hard at evolving our business to meet the challenges of a dynamic industry – responding to the needs of our partners and clients in the areas of retirement income planning , discretionary fund management , offshore investing , environmental , social and governance ( ESG ) factors , artificial intelligence , and so much more .
