Owners of Geo .’ s Quarters are proud to offer a large inventory of Southern apparel , and they certainly care about being a great place to find a gift , but perhaps the thing they are most passionate about is in the way they give back to the community that has supported them so well .

“ The community has supported us , and we always give back to the community based on our sales ,” says Joey Giddens , who owns the store with his brother and sister-in-law . “ And so , the more successful we are as a store , we donate more and more to the organizations , especially the schools .”
Geo .’ s Quarters ’ beginnings date back to when Giddens ’ sister and brother-in-law had a gift shop in their local pharmacy and decided to expand the business to provide a bridal registry service along with antiques , gifts and home décor . They asked Giddens to run the shop , and after a couple of years , they asked him if he wanted to buy it . He and his brother , Tracy , and Tracy ’ s wife , Cindy , decided to purchase the store , and they have owned it since October 2006 .
Geo .’ s Quarters moved to its existing location in The Pringle Building in October 2012 . Through the years , the business has seen changes in the items they carry and the services they offer . When they moved to the current location , they had expanded to carry apparel , and today that is the store ’ s specialty . While they do still carry home décor , gifts and offer a wedding registry , Giddens says the business is about 70 % apparel – mostly men , some unisex , and some women within brands like Southern Tide .
