GMC consolidating Sandersville campus with main campus in Milledgeville
For more than 32 years , Georgia Military College has proudly served the Sandersville / Washington County community , providing an accredited higher education opportunity for its citizens . Grounded in its character-based mission , GMC-Sandersville provides its students a college education their way , using a blend of in-seat , online and remote learning , all focused on the success of each student .
This summer , Georgia Military College
will align the Sandersville campus with GMC ’ s main campus in Milledgeville to provide enhanced learning opportunities for its students .
Only 29 miles down the road , GMC-Sandersville students will have the opportunity to attend GMC ’ s main campus for in-seat classes or continue their studies with Georgia Military Global Online College . For those students who elect to attend GMC ’ s main campus in Milledgeville , they will receive the full college experience . In addition to the expanded in-seat class options , students will have the opportunity to participate in over 15 clubs , attend and / or participate in intercollegiate sports for the nine men ‘ s and women ’ s athletic teams , and enjoy the cultural aspects of a lively performing arts program . There is no military requirement to attend classes or earn a degree .
