Hand in hand with the new purpose and
values, Rob Scoines explained the new
strategy for the New Zealand business –
the roadmap for our success over the next
three years.
It was wonderful to have Todd Saunders
visit back in August to tell the story of
Sanitarium group; from the origin of our
ethos in Battle Creek, US, in the 1890s,
to our beginnings in a Melbourne bakery
and shed in Papanui early last century,
through to the development of Life Health
Foods and Vitality Works in more recent
times.
Over 230 people attended three sessions
over the two days, and the feedback was
overwhelmingly positive, with more than
98% of participants enjoying the content
of the presentations.
Through the storytelling, Todd shared how
our new group purpose, changing lives
every day through whole person health,
has been part of who we are since the very
beginning.
The Team Talk Tour not only visited our
Head Office and Manufacturing, but rolled
out at Sanitarium sites across Australia,
as Kevin Jackson and Todd shared the
storytelling duties and outlined our
strategic vision. Our counterparts at
Life Health Foods in New Zealand and
Australia also hosted the tour, with their
respective General Managers Dean Epps
and Bennie Hendricks delivering their
strategies.
We’re excited to move forward as a
group and hear more about the work of
our colleagues at Life Health Foods and
Vitality Works.
