viewer connects with. The more one works, the
more the emotion is evident. Painting is a lonely
profession, but in the long run, it is a force of
communication that speaks to the observer.
I must be inspired in order to begin a painting, and
once I start, it draws me back until I finish it. I am
lucky enough to have a studio on the rooftop of
our home, full of light and wonderful views of the
church and surrounding areas. In the spring,
all is interspersed with the gorgeous color of the
jacarandas.
What defines me as a painter are my
