For many years and throughout South Africa, some people
who own second or third homes in one or other popular
destination have on an ad hoc basis hired out their
properties usually during peak season and at peak prices.
They see this as a means of not only realising a profitable
income but also to offset things like rates, levies and
maintenance costs. When the income generating weeks
have come and gone, these owners have the luxury of their
paid for getaways for the rest of the year.
Bookings are looking extremely good; this is going to be a
bumper season. At the start of the December holiday peak
period we are offering our guest Mid-Season rates from 9-16
December that will generate more revenue for our home
owners throughout the season. Preparation meets
opportunity. Villa Rentals has been very active this year in
marketing our villas and making sure the villas are up to
standard right through the year, to avoid last minute running
around before the busy season starts. Thank you to all the
home owners for their co-operation.

onderhoudskoste te dra. Wanneer die inkomste-genererende
tydperk gekom en gegaan het, het hierdie eienaars die luuksheid
van 'n wegbreek vir die res van die jaar wat reeds betaal is.
Besprekings lyk op die oomblik baie goed; dit gaan 'n stampvol
seisoen wees. Aan die begin van die Desember-vakansie periode
bied ons, ons gaste middel van die seisoen tariewe vanaf 9-16
Desember sodat ons huiseienaars regdeur die seisoen inkomste
kan genereer. Voorbereiding ontmoet geleentheid. Villa Rentals
was vanjaar baie aktief met die bemarking van ons villas asook
om seker te maak dat ons villas regdeur die jaar op standaard is.
So vermy ons om op die nippertjie rond te hardloop voordat die
spitsseisoen begin. Baie dankie aan al die huiseienaars vir jul
samewerking.
