During our stay we managed to go to another soccer game, this time a Europa League matchup between Tottenham
and a Moldovan team at White Hart Lane, which unsurprisingly Tottenham won convincingly. Apart from the soccer
game, most of the stuff we did was either touristy stuff we missed out on the first time round, like a trip to Camden
for the day, and visiting the Tate Museum, the Harry Potter World, or just hanging out in shopping malls and bars
with people we met from our hostel.
Our time in London and Europe as a whole had now run out, and it was time for Chris and me to say a sad farewell
until we see each other again sometime mid-January when he returns from Africa. I must say when we planned the
trip spending four months together I thought it would be a given that we would spend a lot of it bickering over petty
things, but we were both pretty amazed that the closest we came to a fight was an argument over whether or not
the Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard had ever played for their rivals Everton (which I won). I think the fact that we
had so many other people on our Contiki to hang out with definitely helped as it meant we weren’t forced to do the
same things when one of us didn’t want to, and we had other people to hang out with when we got a bit sick of each
other. All in all I don’t think I could have asked for a better travel buddy, and can’t wait to reminisce when he gets
back. I also can’t wait to go back again, and I'm already thinking about returning next
