Position (job title and firm): Senior Associate, Restructuring and Insolvency Practice, Allen & Gledhill LLP (Singapore)

Most interesting matter you've worked on: They’re all my babies! I’ll have to list three -- (a) cross-border recognition and assistance of the Chapter 11 Trustee appointed to China Fishery, as part of the Pacific Andes restructuring; (b) the contentious restructuring of an Indonesian conglomerate’s debts in the US and in Singapore; and (c) an appointment by the Singapore High Court as Young Amicus Curiae in a drug possession matter.

Role in IWIRC: Communications Co-Chair, Singapore Board

Favorite IWIRC event you’ve attended: The IWIRC Asia Restructuring and Insolvency Conference 2018, in Hong Kong. That was my first major IWIRC event and I absolutely loved the energy in the room! It was a great opportunity to meet IWIRC members from all over Asia, including Japan and Singapore. It was also the event that inspired me to run for the Singapore Board in 2019!

What is one skill / hobby / interest most people may not know about you? I hold advanced qualifications in the study of wine and sake, and I completed Yoga Teacher Training in San Francisco in 2014! Happy to share further details in person! ;)

Who is your role model? So many! I really enjoy working with everyone on the IWIRC Singapore Board – each woman has so much to bring to the table. I’ve learnt and grown so much by being on the Board and working with everyone this year.

What are you most looking forward to in DC? Meeting everyone! This will be my first Fall Conference. Plus the District Winery Tasting & Tour, of course.
