Tomeeka Beaver, a native of New Jersey, is the author of, “Tabu Creations Book of Poetry”. The title of the book, "Tabu Creations", was derived from the author's middle name, Tabu. Yes, Tabu…the word which is associated with forbidden or untouchable. Tomeeka has decided to write about those things that many are trying to make forbidden, like God, discipline and in some cases love. Not only is her name unique, you will also see a unique quality in her writing. Inspired by Maya Angelou, Tomeeka has been writing since she was 14 years old.
Tabu Creations is a collection of poetry written by Tomeeka to expand your mind spiritually, touch your heart in love, give wisdom, provide comfort and speak those thoughts that many of you would like to say but don't have the courage to say. Tomeeka's goal is to have many throughout the world reaching for her book and at the same time encouraging the change that is needed to please our Heavenly Father.
