The Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) is the recognized
voice of the planning profession and grants the Registered
Professional Planner (RPP) designation. Our more than 4,500
members work in the public, private, not-for-profit and academic
sectors, including students studying at accredited planning
programs and members who have retired from rewarding careers.
This year marks the 25 th anniversary of the RPP designation in
Ontario. For the last 25 years and more, elected officials, municipal
leaders and allied professionals have relied on the expertise, insight
and strategic thinking that only RPPs can provide. This will continue
amid a scarcity of resources, evolving and urgent economic, social
and infrastructure issues that put pressure on communities to make
informed choices now that will dramatically impact their future.
