Welcome to the First Edition of Samantha's Style – Second
Life Fashion. I am not going to pretend this a professional
magazine, as I've seen what's being published in Second
Life. I put this together just to see if I could, but that's me
and well being happy with the result, thought I'd go ahead
and publish and see what reaction I received.

Kerrie Packer's original name for
the Women's Weekly flies into my
head. For those that don't know,
he was originally going to call his
women's magazine the Women's
Monthly, but was advised by Ita
Buttrose against doing so.

A little about me, Samantha Shephard is a pseudonym as
you most probably realise. She is my conduit for being
involved in the fashion industry, a long held dream that
never came to fruition. In real life I ran my own secretarial
service for many years and the knowledge gained there
certainly hasn't gone astray in helping me find my legs in
Second Life.
The magazine is going to be a monthly publication. As I gain
more experience and knowledge of Second Life and it's
wonderful Fashion Industry, I'm sure the publication will
grow from this humble beginning.
