RWC entered the U . S . market in 2002 when it acquired the Cash Acme water valve manufacturing facility in Cullman . Products such as Cash Acme temperature and pressure relief valves , HoldRite pipe supports and firestop sleeves , SharkBite PEX tubing , EvoPEX fittings and other core fittings are manufactured out of the facility , which features high-tech robotic equipment .
As we ’ ve grown the plant over the years , our Cullman team has continued to be instrumental in helping us to maintain complete control over the quality of and improvements to the products professional plumbers rely on day in and day out . Their dedication and hard work have particularly shone through during the COVID-19 pandemic . Plumbers have been able to continue their essential work thanks to the uninterrupted manufacturing of key plumbing components made in Cullman .
Beyond the business , by manufacturing products here in the U . S , we ’ re able to invest in the local Cullman economy through job creation and , by extension , raising the demand for local goods and services .

That Moment : In 1936 , our founder , Henry George Fredline , set out on his own in Brisbane to create new plumbing solutions that challenged convention . After two years of innovation and determination , he perfected the world ’ s first hand-operated vertical turret lathe , which increased production output , reduced costs and was easier for operators to use . This opened the gateway for a slew of innovative solutions that would transform the plumbing industry .
