Healthy foods

To try to correct these habits it is necessary to emphasize food for overweight and childhood obesity, for it are made diets for obese children, which are based on a selection of food not allowed and food allowed. These foods should be adequate to ensure good growth and development of the child, without adding extra calories.

It is convenient to accustom them to make between 4 or 5 meals: breakfast, lunch, lunch, snack and dinner. For lunch / recess and snack it is convenient to prepare small snacks, fruits (mandarins, bananas) and dairy (yogurt, glass of milk) at home.The balanced diet should distribute the calories throughout the day as follows: breakfast 25%, meal 30-40%, snack 10-15% and dinner 20-30%.Educate them to "eat everything".

Do not use food as a reward or punishment.

Make an adequate breakfast: It is advisable to consume dairy, cereals / bread / biscuits and fruit or fresh fruit juice (packaged juices do not have the same properties).

At least one piece of fruit, one cup of milk and cereal / bread should be included.

Get used to water as a drink, instead of artificial juices and sweet sodas (a soda or coke is equivalent to taking 4 or 5 lumps of sugar)

When eating out, avoid "fast food / junk" places / places.
