SALT Central Coast Issue 1, April 2014 | Page 3

SALT Central Coast Welcome to the first instalment of SALT ! There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child, and I believe the same principle can be applied to business. Running a small business is not for the faint hearted, but like parenting, success is far more achievable if it is backed by the wisdom and experience of many. My hope, is that through the pages of SALT, the Central Coast community can band together to support local enterprise and promote the strengths of our region. Inspiring one another with new and existing projects, and being committed to growth is in everyone’s interest. Businesses can’t exist without turnover, and Georgia Thomas, Editor customers are denied choice without a healthy range of local enterprise. And so I invite you to join the team at SALT as we share great content each quarter from local contributors. Talk about the content with those who may be interested and think about what role you play in building our community. Between issues you can connect with our team on facebook where we share information about special events, sales, promotions and all things that embrace the uniqueness of the Central Coast. A special thank you to those who helped pull together this first issue - A perfect example of what can be achieved ! Where’s Ploddy? Let SALT know if you’ve found Ploddy (in this issue) for your chance to win a Family Pass to The Reptile Park.
