Congratulations to the organizers and participants of the
“SALIKSIKHAY: Pagdiriwang ng Dangal at Kahusayan sa Saliksik, Malikhaing
Gawa, at Ekstensiyon,” probably the first of its kind within UP, where we feature
research, creative, and extension work that bridges the various disciplines, using
various methodologies, and involving faculty, researchers, staff, and students.
We reach out as well to potential partners outside UP to expand our
partnerships. If innovation is to thrive, it must take place in an ecosystem with as
many niches as possible. Responding to various challenges, the most successful
of these ecosystems are those that are disruptive and resilient, a spark that
illuminates even in the most difficult, the darkest of times.
Let SALIKSIKHAY be truly a celebration of UP’s commitment to serving
people and the nation.
