The grant is from the LGSETA and it is intended to provide financial support to SALGA to enable the roll-
out of a portfolio based councillor development programme (PBCDP) programme. The programme
is targeted at reaching at least 5 000 councillors to be provided with portfolio based training based on
their respective roles in municipalities.
