CONCLUSION
At the close of the SALCC games, although some events on the programme did not take place,
the season was indeed a success. One of the major hindrances of the games is participation from
both staff and students and in the future, with more sensitization, a change is expected. The plan
is for future games to be even better, as the preparation will take a new twist, starting things off
way in advance. The hope of the Sports Committee is to have a solid Sports Programme that will
encourage all athletes to train not only when the games are approaching but throughout the
year. This of course will require the refurbishment of both the playing field and the gymnasium.
This year, events were covered with photos and video provided by SALCC Media Club, headed
by Mrs Nathalie Jolie-Fanis.
As far as Inter Schools Track Meet is concerned, the experience for both the managers and the
athletes was very rewarding. Both groups worked extremely hard to make the time spent at
the games one that will never be forgotten. The team is expected to make a greater impact in
2020.
With that being said, on behalf of the Sports Committee, congratulations to everyone who took
part in the 2018-19 Sports Season!
