Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, yet again did an amazing job of claiming a comfortable
victory over Beanefield Secondary School by 117 runs. The match took place at the Mindoo Philip
Park.
SALCC batted first in a 42 overs a side and made 224 for 8 in their allocated overs with Rashaad
Gaston making 43 runs, Tyrel Chicot 42 runs, Dhan-Raj Cepal 30 runs, Kyle Adonis 25 runs not out
and Simeon Gerson 23 runs.
Bowling for Beanefield Secondary, Kaj Roberts 4 for 38 in 9 overs, Chad Matial 2 for 45 in 8 overs
and 1 wicket to Lester Mathurin. In response, Beanefield Secondary was dismissed for 107 in
31.1 overs with Jurmill Dugaillard making 15, Tyrone Theodore 13 and Kaj Roberts 11.
The wicket takers for Sir Arthur Lewis Community College were, Simeon Gerson with 3 for 20 in
7 overs, Craig Elisee 3 for 23 in 5 overs, Tyrel Chicot 2 for 14 in 7.1 overs and 1 wicket each to
Nyeem Rosemond and captain Rahym Joseph.

St Mary’s College on Wednesday 20 th March 2019 (SEMI FINALS)
SALCC played St Mary's College at the Gros Islet Playing Field and lost by 16 runs. Despite the
loss, the students gave a good account of themselves.
St Mary’s College batted first after winning the toss and was dismissed for 144 in 27.1 overs with
the tournament’s leading run scorer, West Indies Under 15 player and team captain Ackeem
Auguste scoring with a classy 51 runs which included 7 fours and 1 six. Other useful scores for St
Mary’s College came from Sherqwayne Prudent with 24 runs, Desne Gidharry 17 runs and Zidane
Arthur 15 runs.
The wicket takers for Sir Arthur Lewis Community College were, Craig Elisee with 3 for 15 in 6.1
overs, Simeon Gerson 3 for 30 in 7 overs, Kyle Adonis 2 for 25 in 5 overs and 1 wicket to Tyrel
