Almaty is located between beautiful mountains and plains with modern architecture. Its streets are wide and laced with fountains, gardens,

The Ascension Cathedral also known as Zenkov Cathedral, is a Russian Orthodox cathedral located in Panfilov Park in Almaty,
Kazakhstan, it is claimed to be the second tallest wooden building in the world, Almaty›s tourist attractions include museums, galleries,
theatres, and monuments including both historical and contemporary. You will also find the Monument of Independence in Almaty a
tall obelisk rising up from street level and flanked by various statues and a screen in bronze. Also located in Almaty are the Kazakh
museums including the Museum of National Instruments and the Museum of the Central State Museum of Art which includes exhibits of
traditional Kazakh carpets, jewelry and clothing. In the western region of the Panfilov Park, Turkish, Russian, and Finnish baths are found.
