Qatar’s Ambassador in Kazakhstan
Salam Magazine›s team, met with His Excellency
Abdullah Ahmed Al Mutawa, the Qatari Ambassador
during his visit to Kazakhstan. In an exclusive statement
Al Mutawa stated that Qatar and the Republic of
Kazakhstan enjoy a special connection and the fruits
of this relationship blossomed following the visit of Emir
of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his father Emir
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani›s visit in 2008 and
2009.

Both asserted that the Republic of Kazakhstan, is
rich in natural resources namely oil, gas, and metals.
Head of the state of Kazakhstan President Nursultan
Nazarbayev has stated that he has ambitious visions
for the future of Kazakhstan and aims to develop all its
sectors including the political, economic and touristic
fields. He added that he has plans to provide investment
facilities in all sectors for local investors in general and
Gulf investors in particular.
Discussing Kazakhstan›s touristic attractions the
Ambassador asserted that it is characterized by
its natural beauty, landscapes, lakes and vast and
spectacular mountains. Furthermore it offers safety and
security nationwide allowing tourists to greatly enjoy their
visit in grand hotels, museums, parks, and enchanting
gardens with wide paths while also taking walks in
and around mountains thick with Pine Trees which are
hundreds of years old. Leaves are colorful, painting
an indescribable exquisite landscape guaranteeing a
memorable experience for all nature lovers.
Concluding the interview HE Abdullah Ahmed Al Mutawa
highlighted the importance of supporting tourism in
Kazakhstan since it was an Islamic nation by promoting
touristic investment projects and encouraging families
in the Arab and Gulf regions to visit Kazakhstan to
enjoy its spectacular nature. He highlighted that it was
significant more efforts be made in creating a friendly
attractive a nd secure investment environment granting
new investors extra benefits in order to encourage
business from all over the world and especially from
Qatar and the GCC
