2018 SUA Ball, Reimagined Christmas Tea
Saturday, February 3, 2018 The Saint Ursula parlors were filled with guests of all ages
at this year’s Alumnae Christmas Tea. More than 200
guests attended the event. The adults enjoyed tea and light
bites before hearing the Christmas Carols in the Chapel.
The younger guests made reindeer food and enjoyed a visit
from Santa.
Guests enjoyed a unique twist on the 2018 SUA Ball with the
theme Reimagined.
The event was chaired by Mike and Heidi Mechley Felton ’84
and John and Camille Mechley Gartner ’86, both of Hyde
Park and current SUA parents.
The reimagined event allowed guests more time for mingling
and less time for sitting. It also offered unique twists on
some traditional raffles and the event format. Local 12
anchor Bob Herzog entertained the group as emcee and
auctioneer and Funky’s catering provided a delicious seated
dinner. SUA parent Theresa Denoyer was this year’s grand
raffle winner of $10,000 cash.

All proceeds from the SUA Ball help to support Saint
Ursula’s educational programming and provide aid for
deserving young women.
Thanks to everyone who attended!
