The
interviewers
had
a
little
chuckle
about
this
and
told
me
human
rights
hadn't
been
invented
then
and
well
let's
just
say
it
was
another
awkward
moment!
All
in
all
though,
interviews
aren’t
something
to
be
afraid
or
nervous
about!
They
were
really
fun
to
me,
and
I
learnt
a
lot!
Take
interviews
as
an
opportunity
to
show
the
people
at
your
university
that
you
deserve
a
place
at
their
university!
Oh
and
dress
smart,
they
always
like
that
(I
reckon).
Getting
results
So
after
you've
applied,
and
got
offers
and
did
all
your
exams
to
the
best
of
your
ability,
there
comes
the
waiting
game.
There
is
honestly
no
point
spending
the
first
half
of
your
summer
worrying
about
results
because
you
can't
do
anything
about
them.
On
the
day
you
collect
results
though,
make
sure
you
have
all
the
right
phone
numbers
(i.e.
the
admissions
number
of
your
university
saved
in
your
contacts)
to
call
should
your
grades
not
meet
their
offer!
If
you
negotiate
well
and
prove
yourself,
they
might
just
give
you
a
place!
On
the
morning
of
results
day,
check
UCAS.
Word
of
advice
though,
don't
check
at
8,
check
earlier!
On
the
website
this
year,
it
said
they
would
reopen
Track
at
8am,
however
I
checked
from
7.20
and
at
7.30
I
was
able
to
log
on
and
find
out
that
I
had
been
taken
by
my
firm
choice.
This
of
course,
makes
getting
your
results
so
much
easier!
And
if
you
find
out
that
you
haven't
met
your
offer,
then
my
advice
is
to
go
into
school
a
little
earlier
to
beat
the
rush,
open
you
results
and
find
out
how
far
from
the
offer
you
were!
Once
you
have
this
information,
call
up
your
university
on
the
number
you've
saved
on
your
phone
and
explain
if
you
were
only
a
couple
of
UMS
off
the
mark!
Universities
do
not
receive
UMS
marks,
so
you
could
be
one
mark
off
the
grade
and
they
wouldn't
have
known!
Even
if
you
were
quite
far
off
make
sure
you
try
and
don't
just
give
up.
General
Advice
Study
hard;
trust
me,
you'd
rather
feel
like
the
Prisoner
of
Azkaban
during
your
Easter
holidays
than
panic
after
the
exams.
Always
keep
your
final
goal
in
mind
if
you
get
sidetracked,
but
don't
fix
your
heart
on
it.
Remember
that
it's
not
the
end
of
the
world
if
you
don't
get
into
the
university
you've
always
dreamed
of,
to
do
that
course
you've
always
wanted
to
do.
There
are
plenty
of
other
options
out
there
and
make
sure
you
ask
teachers
to
help
should
you
need
to.
Well,
I
hope
that
wasn't
too
long-? winded
and
boring!
Best
of
luck
you
lot,
I
really
hope
you
guys
go
on
to
do
something
great.
Remember
to
take
off
your
Hogwarts
robes
now,
you
might
seem
weird
otherwise
and
I
assure
you,
I
am
not
a
crazy
Harry
Potter
fan.
