 welcome
 to
 the
 first
 edition
 of
  the
 Law
 Society
 Journal.

  The
 recent
 introduction
 of
 the
 Saint
 Olave’s
 Law
 Society
 could
 not
 have
  come
 at
 a
 more
 opportune
 time;
 with
 all
 the
 additions
 to
 our
 existing
 legal
  system,
 prospective
 lawyers
 are
 growing
 up
 with
 direct
 exposure
 to
  progress
 across
 many
 exciting
 areas
 of
 the
 law.

  This
 year,
 the
 society
 has
 enjoyed
 several
 student-­?led
 talks,
 offering
 insight
  into
 medical
 law,
 commercial
 law,
 and
 criminal
 law
 as
 well
 as
 hands-­?on
  exposure
 to
 case
 studies
 and
 summaries
 of
 work
 experience.

  This
 journal
 is,
 therefore,
 our
 collection
 of
 some
 of
 the
 areas
 of
 the
 law
 we
  find
 particularly
 interesting
 and
 hope
 to
 pursue
 in
 the
 future,
 as
 well
 as
  some
 practical
 advice
 regarding
 university
 admissions.
