GEN E R ATIONS Christmas Gathering for Alumni Parents and Alumni
More than 150 people attended the Christmas Gathering in the Hume Library where David De Luca ’77 was named Alumnus of the Year. David had served for six years as the Alumni Council Chair. In accepting his award from current Alumni Council Chair Alberto Acosta ’71, David expressed his gratitude to his parents for sending him to Saint David’s and recognized current faculty members who had also taught when he was a student: Joe and Rovena Kilkeary, Thea Osborne, Tom McLellan, Tom Ryan, and Mike Imbelli. David’s two sons attend Saint David’s. In his welcoming remarks Headmaster O’Halloran noted how important the alumni body is to the school, and that along with the current boys, they are at its core.
