Fund Established in Memory of Jack Flannery
Saint David’s has established The John (Jack) Flannery Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of Mr. Flannery, father of John ’05, who passed away earlier in the school year. Jack loved being a part of this community and all that it offered. He persevered in the face of adversity with grace, courage, and faith. An optimist, he always saw the glass as half-full. He was also compassionate and looked to help others no matter their status. Ever a gentleman, Jack was also lots of fun and filled with surprises. The Fund established in his name will recognize boys who embody Jack’s values and strengths, and will encourage boys to express and live those values. For information on the fund, contact Maureen Barry, Director of Development.
