Correction to Summer 2018 Magazine: The origin of the Key to Passaic lies not with Bill Ryan but with Peter Fagan, former Eighth Grade homeroom and
English teacher, who discovered the key in his parents’ attic. Peter’s grandfather had been mayor of Passaic, NJ. After bringing the key back to school, he and former
Headmaster David Hume decided it would be great to award it to each class for their plays, and a longstanding 55 plus-year tradition was born.
Saint David’s Magazine is published twice a year by the Saint David’s School Development Office.
