Saint David’ s trustee Todd Cosenza and his wife, Elizabeth; parents of Matthew Cosenza’ 21 and James Cosenza’ 32, were honored with the Spirit of St. Nicholas Award( December 4, 2025) at the 80th Annual Cardinal’ s Christmas Luncheon. Lessons and Carols
The Advent Service of Lessons and Carols at St. Thomas More on Wednesday, December 17, brought warmth and light of the holiday season as the Saint David’ s community gathered for an evening of scripture readings and classic Christmas carols. Since its inception in 1969, this treasured annual holiday tradition featuring readings by alumni, boys, faculty, administrators, and trustees, and carols sung by the fifth and sixth graders reminds us of our many blessings. As noted by Dr. Paul Czuchlewski in Saint David’ s School: The First Thirty Years:“ Each December since 1969 the choristers have pointed the way to royal David’ s city not only to their parents and classmates but to an ever-increasing number of alumni and friends who are drawn back by the reverent and venerable service which descends from the English cathedral tradition.”
George R. Hoguet’ 61
Former Trustee George Hoguet’ 61, father of Ramsay Hoguet’ 95 and Bruno Hoguet’ 97, brother of Constance Hoguet Neel, former faculty, passed away in September 2025. As his wife, Marie, noted, George had incorporated Saint David’ s values into his own life, passing them on to their sons, who have strived to embody them.
