Summary:
In total, Schaeffer students raised $3,500 of the $5,300 needed for the 5 eye technicians working at Kibuye Hope Hospital in Burundi. We are incredibly grateful to all who participated. Thank you so much for your generosity and willingness to learn! We are excited to see what God has planned for Burundi.

The winning team was rewarded with chai and mandazi (Kenyan tea and fried bread) , an important part of Kenyan culure. It was a fun event for all involved, building a lot of school and team spirit, especially as 3 of our Board Members are Schaeffer alumni: David Holmes, Ashley Wright (pictured below), and Matthew Merry.
